Sales Director (DACH region)

We are looking for an experience but still dynamic and innovative person who will actively contribute to building Hycom.digital awareness and recognition on a country level within customers and prospects in the strategic sectors. Someone who will manage our sales team and run own sales activities with strong focus on new Business generation and winning new clients. Person that easily generates new ideas on how to attract new customers and smoothly transforms them into real actions.

Your tasks & duties

  • preparing yearly sales operation plan with Target projection for the geographical market, including a budget of pointful sales & marketing actions,
  • handling personal responsibility and driving target execution on manged market and Geographical Territory especially for new business and acquisition of new customers according to hycom’s strategy and approved sales plan.
  • being responsible for proposing and setting up partnerships (e.g. TAH ), to accelerate our sales in our strategic sectors and according to our strategic plan. 
  • daily sales activities including managing sales team and running own sales calls, networking, lead generation action etc.
  • running operational and tactical sales actions towards reaching expected goals and targets 
  • developing and supporting strong ongoing relationships with potential and hunted customers,
  • managing and running sales process especially qualifying new contacts, leads, and opportunities with respective Industry Champions etc.
  • directly reporting to Executive Sales and working with him on assigned more strategical tasks
  • tracking all sales activities in CRM and keeping it properly updated for the managed market
  • preparing a potential stakeholder mapping (organizational structure of the potential customer) before sales introduction meeting,
  • Managing the whole sales process from the new contact until the closing, including the offer placing and supporting sales executive in the negotiation,
  • providing market and customer specifications for contract negotiations to Sales Executive, and processing formal documents.

Main requirements

  • you have at least 10 years of experience and documented results in the sales area,
  • you have industry knowledge of sales in the IT field, especially in media & telecommunication, energy or manufacturing sectors,
  • you have experience in running successful sales team
  • you have ability to plan and execute the sales plans for generating New Business,
  • you have hands-on knowledge on contract negotiation,
  • you have native German speaking skills and fluent English,
  • you have excellent communication skills,
  • you have possibility to travel (according to needs) within the DACH region.
  • Additional advantage would be having own network of contacts that can accelerate establishing cooperation and acquiring new customers within the sectors of hycom’s strategic interest.
