Privacy policy

  • § 1

    This Privacy Policy sets out the rules and ways of collecting and processing personal data. We exercise all due diligence and act in accordance with applicable regulations to respect the privacy of our clients and visitors of our website.

    In particular, we take care that the data processed by us is:

    a)    Processed in accordance with the law,

    b)    Collected for the purposes indicated in this document,

    c)    Not subject to further processing incompatible with the above purposes,

    d)    Substantially correct and adequate in relation to the purposes for which it is processed,

    e)    Properly protected against unauthorized access, destruction, disclosure and unauthorized use,

    f)     Kept in a form which permits identification of the persons to whom it relates, no longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose of processing.

    The data processed by the Company is stored on secure servers.

  • § 2

    1.   The administrator of personal data of people who provide it via the www.hycom.digital website is Hycom S.A., ul. Piramowicza 11/13, 90-254 Łódź. The contact person for personal data protection is Marta Michalska - the Data Protection Officer available at: iod@hycom.pl.

    2.   The administrator processes personal data in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter “GDPR”)

  • § 3

    The Data Administrator may process such data as: name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, position, company name - if the form available on our website allows the User to leave them, additionally IP address and geolocation data. In the case of online events, due to their nature, Participants of the event may voluntarily use cameras on and ask questions live - in the above situation Hycom.digital may process data such as image and voice of the Participant. If the event is recorded such information will be available during registration to the event. Participant should be aware that recording the event may result in fixing the image and voice on the recording.

  • § 4

    Data can be processed for the purposes of:

    a) sale of goods and services offered by the Company - the legal basis for the processing of personal data is the performance of an agreement,

    b) consideration of complaints, investigating and defending possible claims - the legal basis for the processing of personal data is the legitimate interest of the Company,

    c) marketing - the legal basis for the processing of personal data is the legitimate interest of the Company - marketing of own goods and services,

    d) sending commercial information by electronic means and by phone - only in the case of consent of the data subject - the legal basis is consent to the personal data processing of data subject.

    e) to carry out activities related to the organization of online events - only if the data subject provides personal data by registration form - the legal basis is legitimate interest of the company- building the image of Hycom.digital.

  • § 5

    The Company shall process the personal data:

    - for the period necessary to perform the agreement and for the period and to the extent required by the applicable law or to secure any claims, if the legal basis for processing is the performance of a contract or defense against claims.

    - in the case of the consent to process personal data for the purpose of sending commercial information - until it is withdrawn,

    - in the case of organizing online events, we will keep your data for no longer than one month from the date of the event, and in the case of recording online events, your personal data will be processed for no longer than one year from the date of the event.

  • § 6

    The Company may share the personal data with other entities, among others, the hosting provider, accounting or legal service, payment operators, as well as other entities with whom we cooperate.

    Personal data may be made available to authorized bodies in situations where required by law - based on a request from an authorized body or court.

    We do not transfer the obtained personal data outside of the European Economic Area.

    Every person whose personal data is processed by the Company has the right to access their data and correct, delete or limit its processing, the right to object to the processing, the right to transfer data, as well as the right to withdraw the consent, although withdrawal of the consent granted does not affect the legality of the processing, which was made on the basis of consent before its withdrawal. 

    Any person whose data is processed has the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory body when he/she considers that the processing of personal data concerning him/her violates the provisions of the general regulation on personal data protection.

  • § 8

    In case you wish to undertake communication through our form available on the website/participate in an online event organized by us/receive marketing information from us, providing data is voluntary, but necessary to carry out the above-mentioned activities.

    In the case of the sale of products and provision of services offered by hycom.digital, the processing of data is necessary for the performance of the contract.

    Consent to the processing of personal data can be withdrawn at any time. In order to withdraw the consent, contact us via e-mail address: iod@hycom.pl. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that was performed on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

  • § 9

    The Administrator applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of the data being processed, and in particular, protects the data against unauthorized access, processing in violation of the law, as well as change, loss, damage or destruction.

    Only persons authorized by the Administrator are allowed to process your data within the Administrator's organization.

  • § 10

    In the course of providing services, the administrator uses cookies, i.e. technology used to collect and save information.

    Cookies are commonly used small files containing a string of characters that are sent and stored on the User's end device (i.e. computer, tablet, phone). 

    Cookies contain information necessary for the proper use of the website's functionality.

    Users of the site are kindly requested to voluntarily agree to the processing of cookies by storing information or accessing information already stored in their terminal devices.

    The website uses the following cookies:

    a) session files, i.e. files that exist until the end of a given User session;

    b) persistent files, i.e. files that exist after the end of the session by the User.

    The User has the option of disabling the saving of cookies if he does not agree to the saving of these files. To do this, change the settings of the web browser. After disabling cookies, some of the website's functionalities may no longer be available.

    By using the Website, you accept this Privacy Policy. All information, advertising and price lists published on the website do not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Civil Code, but they are an invitation to conclude an agreement.

    The Website may contain links to other websites that operate independently of the Website and are not supervised by it in any way. These websites may have their own privacy policies and regulations, the content of which we recommend reading.  

    We are constantly improving our Website and strive to adapt the Privacy Policy to the requirements arising from the principles of good practice. As a result of the above, we would like to inform you that the content of the Privacy Policy may change, in particular in the case of amending the applicable law.

    This Privacy Policy is applicable from 25.05.2018.
